Teaching mixed ability groups (focused on both YL and Teens)

We all know that every group of students we teach is a mixed-ability group. We also know that dealing with mixed-ability students can be challenging for a teacher. In the session we will discuss the ways in which students are different, perform a task and analyse it, discuss different problems connected with mixed abilities and solutions to the problems and explore some activities specifically designed for teaching mixed-ability students.

After the session you will be encouraged to teach heterogeneous students and see teaching mixed-abilities as a part of your professional development.
