Opening Minds - Higher-order thinking skills for language learning success

General Methodology
This session is going to be a combination of theory and practice. We’ll try to work out what HOT (higher-order thinking skills) mean and how they
are different from LOT (lower-order thinking), which cognitive processes involve more mental effort and how we can exploit this knowledge while
choosing or designing activities for our lessons. During the session, we’ll be completing several speaking and reading tasks, analysing them from HOT/ LOT pointy of view.
